The Journey of You is a beautifully delicate 925 sterling silver ring, lovingly handmade and finished by Caitie in her studio in leafy Farnham. Each hammer mark on the Journey of You is intentionally placed to give it a beautifully unique sparkle. A totally classic piece, the Journey of You looks beautiful worn alone whilst also being a charming companion to our other rings.
And, as the name would suggest, it's inspired by you, and your journey.
None of us expect to go through life without acquiring some chinks in our armour, do we? We come to accept the bruises, the scars. But, we so easily think of them as negative defining features, rather than marks that say: 'I was here; I did this'.
This ring is inspired by the journey of you. The journey that each and every one of us are on. The one that we love; the one that terrifies us; the one that makes us, us. Know that you are only more beautiful for your scars; only braver because of the times you were afraid; and only stronger because of those times you think you failed. You are a uniquely beautiful person. Tell the story of your scars, don't hide them. Let them be the part of you that you wear with pride.
This piece is lovingly handcrafted and as such there will be slight variations in appearance making it truly one-of-a-kind.
Each When Caitie met Soda order comes packaged in 100% recycled / recyclable / reusable packaging. It is my hope that you will reuse the postage box to send something to a friend or family member or that you will recycle it responsibly. The organic cotton pouch is perfect to pop dried lavender in to scent your drawers, or to use to keep your jewellery safe when travelling. Please note I do not recommend storing your jewellery in this pouch for long periods of time as it may result in tarnishing (this is a natural by-product of storing rather than wearing your jewellery.) The gold and silver that I use are responsibly sourced from a company that adheres to ethical and eco-friendly practices; one in which working conditions are safe and labor standards are respected.
